Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Corporate Assurance team.

Team Overview
The Corporate Assurance Admin Team provides support to the Corporate Assurance team, within our office on Wood Street. The team comprises three team admins, and we are looking for additional administrative support to help enhance our offering to the team.
Role Overview
To provide daily, flexible, proactive administrative support across the Corporate Assurance team.
What you will be doing
- To assist and support the team by providing administrative support.
- To ensure all work undertaken is produced within agreed timescales, escalating to the Assistant Manager (Administration) where necessary.
- To sort and organise post on SharePoint, sorting through the originals taking out cheques/requests from managers/sending on to clients and ensuring outgoing post is collected.
- Process documents in accordance with the firm’s procedures whilst ensuring that any regulations concerning security or confidentiality (such as safeguarding password) are complied with.
- To take an interest in the operation of the teams so that you are aware of current work being dealt with by Team Members.
- To take responsibility for developing your skills and abilities.
- Deal with the Corporate Assurance Admin email inbox daily.
- Draft/amend/finalise letters and accounts. Assist with the iXBRL tagging process and submit codes on behalf of the team.
- Ad-hoc project support to include but not limited to PE updates/amends/software testing/retain updates.
- Manage meeting arrangements by sending and updating calendar invites, and booking meeting rooms as required.
What we’re looking for
- 5 GCSE’s grade A-C including English and Maths, or equivalent
- Good use of English grammar
- Attention to detail
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact professionally with internal and external clients
- Able to work to deadlines; level-headed and not put off by pressure; able to prioritise workload and be self-sufficient; a multi-tasker; also willing to do more mundane jobs
- Experience of working in an office
- Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
