In this role you will provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Administration team and the wider Expatriate Tax team, contributing to the overall efficiency of the teams and the services we provide to our clients
This team of approximately 60 dual-qualified US/UK tax experts help US and UK citizens and businesses based away from home to manage their net earnings and reduce liabilities. The team know both tax systems inside-out and have handled relocations from solo workers up to hundreds of employees.
Key Aspects of the role include
Answer the telephone, transfer calls and take detailed messages.
Carry out scanning and archiving, ensuring accuracy and that the firm’s procedures are followed.
Check the US Consent mailbox and file forms in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist Administrators with US and UK tax return packaging, client invoices and team training materials.
Assist the Administrators with overflow typing, which may include producing documents from a variety of sources such as handwritten drafts and on-screen material in the style and layout required by their authors or as required to comply with the firm’s standards.
You are the right person for the role if you have:
5 GCSE’s grade A-C including English and Maths, or equivalent
Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
An excellent telephone manner and interpersonal communication skills to interact professionally with internal and external clients
A minimum typing speed of 50 wpm
The ability to work to deadlines under pressure, able to prioritise workload, be self-sufficient and able to multitask.
