We are looking for an AAT qualified Accounting Associate to provide accounting services to a wide range of clients from profit making organisations to charities.
We are an approximately 50-strong division of the firm’s Corporate Team, which represents a quarter of our people. We’re dedicated to providing the full complement of outsourced services that covers accounting and other administrative functions such as management accounting, VAT and regulatory reporting.

Key aspects of the role include:
Carry out a wide range of accounting work, including planning, executing, completing and producing client-ready product independently and with minimum supervision.
Prepare management accounts and statutory financial reports, including consolidated accounts, from manual and computerised accounting records.
Be able to take ownership of an assignment and see it through to completion with the willingness to solve issues as and when they arise.
Recommend improvements to clients’ accounting systems and controls and assist clients whenever needed.
Provide general accounting services and assistance to clients in the preparation of accounts and VAT returns, for example preparing working papers for management or statutory accounts.
You are the right person for the role if you:
Are AAT qualified (or equivalent) and looking to undertake ACCA
Have 3 A-levels (or equivalent)
Have good GCSE results with a minimum of grade B in GSCE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Have experience of working within a practice and client facing
Experience of preparing statutory and management accounts and VAT returns
